Unfortunately in recent weeks, several owners of property portal websites that we have previously linked to have requested that we remove their listings from our site for copyright reasons. We have of course complied with their requests when asked, but we were disappointed in their decisions as we had previously felt that they would be more than happy to receive the free leads from the traffic we were driving to their sites.

Instead, we have replaced all the listings with a new batch which can be seen on the site today. Unfortunately we are unable to provide direct links or photographs anymore. Estate Agents: If you see a house listed on this site and you would like your contact details to be shown alongside it for potential buyers to contact you, let us know using the contact us form.

We are disappointed to have to do this as we do feel that it detracts from the site, however due to the requests and threats of legal actions from several property portal websites we feel it is the only way that we can continue to operate the site.

We have added a couple more much-requested features today, based around time on market and recently updated listings. Listings that have been updated in the past week are now highlighted in pink on the listings pages, and you can sort search results by the last updated date, giving a list of the freshest price drops. We have also added an additional column to the search results showing how many days a house has been advertised for, so you can find those who are really struggling to sell.

After a busy first few weeks, we've finally got around to adding some new features to the site. Judging by all the emails sent in, one of the most requested features has been sortable search results. In response to this demand, we have added a sorting feature on the search result pages. You can now sort by address, type, original price, current price, and percentage reduction. We have also amended the page number links to make them a bit easier to use.

Once again thanks hugely to everyone for their support. As you can imagine, we have been swamped with requests for new features and enhancements. We are trying to answer every email we receive, so although it may take a few days everyone will get a response. We are looking at one or two new features and hope to have these implemented in the next week or so.

Thanks also to everyone who has left comments on individual listings and locations. These are being held in a queue for moderation and we are putting them through as fast as possible. Typically they will appear on the site within 24 hours. We have had some very useful and interesting comments already about past histories of houses and areas, as well as some forthright opinions about prices! So keep them coming!

Thank you all for your patience. We are now up and running on our new hosting provider so the site should hopefully run at a decent speed now. We are still experiencing a very high volume of visitors, but hopefully we can cope with them now. Thanks for all the emails and comments everyone has left, keep them coming and we will try our best to respond in the next few days.

Hello and thanks for visiting! We have been completely overwhelmed by the response to the site, and the positive comments we've received from everyone, so thanks again! We will try to reply to all the emails in the next week or so.

Apologies for the fact that the site seems slow at times, this is simply due to the unexpectedly large number of hits. We're hoping to look at upgrading the site in the next few days, so please bear with us until then.
